This week was much more of the same, though that may not properly present the diversity of the individuals we have the pleasure of working with. One of our teaching friends returned to his home country, two others got covid, and we found out that two of our other teaching friends not only know each other, but are quite close! The world is crazy, and the Lord is lining up miracles for us one by one and it is incredible to be witnesses to it. We also had interviews! I don't have much to comment other than the fact that I love my mission president, and he has made a world of difference in this mission and continues to do so. Today we had a district activity, and it was very fun! We had lunch, went bowling, went to a photo booth, and to cap it all off, we had a baptism of one of the sister missionaries teaching friends. The service was phenomenal, and an excellent example of our ward coming together to overcome adversity, as there were several barricades in the way of this baptism th...

This week was busy, and it all started with Zone Conference! Zone conference is always an incredible opportunity, and the more I attend the more I love them. But the moment I asked these two questions, my mind snapped into focus and everything else faded away. I heard a voice in my head clearly distinct from my own boldly proclaim "Of course. After everything you have seen, how could it not be?" I was able to spend the rest of the time ponderin...

This is going to be a short one, because we have lights out in 15 minutes, but I would be a fool to miss an update on this week's adventures!  Yesterday we had the joyous experience of baptizing Sister 길가영 (Gil Ga-Young), and it was a phenomenal and busy week full of teaching her, preparing her for her baptism, and introducing her to members! At this point in the process we basically have to pass her off to the ward, and they are doing a phenomenal job giving her the fellowship she needs. I love this ward! Everything is going well, and while our finding has been lower than usual these past two weeks, that is because we have had our hands full with some phenomenal individuals we get the pleasure of teaching about Jesus Christ. My testimony of the power of Jesus Christ has grown so much as we have involved him in our work. This week had many other antics, including MLC, transfers, and an exchange with Elder Pestana! He is a new Elder who served his first transfer in Texas and ...
