Hello everyone! This week was another wonderful week. It was also the final week with my mission president! It is going to be interesting to see what happens as we transition to a new dynasty in the Korea Seoul South mission, and I am very excited. I don't think too much will change though because we are busy busy busy! This week was Ward conference, and we had 7 of our friends come to church, including one individual who just showed up to church that day! Several of them stayed for the baptism at 1 as well, and it was wonderful talking with all of them and feeling their connection to Jesus Christ, despite their different backgrounds. There was a member baptism at 5 as well, and it was perhaps the best baptism I have ever attended. Overall it was a very spiritual day, and it left me exhausted. We also got back in contact with many of our friends who had been too busy to meet this week! It kept us on our toes with so many appointments, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I do...

Happy Father's Day! This week was crazy. It was one of those weeks where transfer calls happened, and that is the least exciting thing to report on! Nobody in our district is transferring by the way. Firstly, I got to go to the temple again on Saturday!! We went with our Vietnamese teaching friend Hui, and it was a special experience. All of our friends cancelled attending with us, but the Sister's friend that we originally found didn't, so we still got to be helpful. We then rushed by taxi back to the Daejeon 1 ward for a YSA sacrament meeting with several of our friends! It was an activity full of miracles. One of our teaching friends has been meeting missionaries off and on for several years, and the missionary that originally found and taught him actually attended the...

Hello everyone! This week was fun! Here are some of the highlights! Our ward had a picnic in the mountains this week! A couple of our teaching friends came and we had a blast. There was a small museum, a rose garden, and a little pavilion in the middle of a river where we ate watermelon and played rock paper scissors. We also had interviews this week! It was the final interviews with our current mission president. I really cannot imagine a better mission president than him. The next one has some big shoes to fill. There was a national FSY planning meeting at our building on Saturday and Sunday, so I got to see several of the returned missionaries from my mission. Today was a huge soccer game at the World Cup stadium that is right next to our church. It was Chile VS Korea, and because today was also the Korean equivalent of Memorial Day, it was PACKED. We got to do some good street contacting and gave out some Book of Mormons outside the stadium. Korea won, by the way. 역시  I h...
