Elder Wardle's Mission Letter

  Hello everyone! This is another two weeker, but I am already out of preparation day time, so I have to keep it extra brief. You can trust that all is well and that the Lord's work is going full throttle though! This week our district had 3 baptisms, which kept us busy, especially because my companion had to do all three baptism interviews! The Lord really is gathering people in our district, and every companionship, including ours, is working with some of the best people we could hope for. The highlight of this last week was someone we met through an English class request on Facebook. We met her once for English, but after giving her a church tour, she immediately had questions about our church. She attended one of the baptisms on Sunday, and felt such a great spirit that she told us she wanted to be baptized, and asked that we talk more about what we believe when we meet her again! Hello everybody! Sorry for the few weeks of radio silence! These past two weeks have been so busy, which is no excuse, but it does mean I have too much content to give a detailed report on everything that has happened recently. I just want to hit some key experiences and describe the feeling of doing missionary work here in 대전 (Daejeon).  I honestly don't remember what i last wrote about, so I am going to start from when we split our trio and left Elder 성현 (Seonghyeon) in the 2 ward so that we can focus on the 1 ward. It has been grueling at times now that it is just us two foreigners, as neither of us are particularly proficient with the language yet. That being said, our ward members are so unbelievably helpful and kind to us in spite of our shortcomings, and we have been able to do a ton of work with their assistance.
