First things first, transfer calls came, and I will be staying! However, my companion is leaving for 세종 (SeJong). It has been a good but short run with Elder Idiart, and it is sad to say goodbye to such an awesome elder. My new companion's name is Elder Kent, and we share the same first name! I don't know much about him, so expect some good in the next email. Also, it was 전주 (Jeonju) Stake Conference on Sunday! It is always incredibly difficult for me to stay focused and awake for 2 hours of difficult Korean talks, but there were several stand out speakers that kept my attention. The Stake President's words in particular stood out to me. He spoke of the need to stand in holy places, warned of the consequences of not doing so, and invited all to evaluate what unholy places they need to remove themselves from. It rang very similar to a BYU devotional I had heard recently titled "Avoid It". It spoke in similar terms to its audience, although in a much different lang...

This was a fast week, with preparation day last week being on Tuesday and an exchange on Thursday. The biggest news of the week is that we started up our english class, and had quite a large crowd attend! It went so well, and I am so grateful for our God-sent members who worked with us to set it up.  We also moved all of our ward meetings away from zoom and into the world of in-person. It feels great! It is so much easier to communicate and feel the Spirit this way. We have great plans to follow up on some of the biggest invitations from General Conference. I hope to have some fun updates in future emails! I went to Jeonju on an exchange with Elder Titensor this week. It was a busy day, and we had some fantastic appointments. All three of the appointments were along the lines of moving from just friend to taking the missionary lessons friend, which is quite a common and useful skill here in Korea. A good time was had by all. I hope you all have a fantastic week! Elder Wardle Pictur...

Wow! What a fast week! We started off the week with interviews with the Mission president, which, as usual, was a great injection of inspiration. Some of our more promising friends are proving more difficult to teach than we had originally realized, and many of our potential friends cancelled on us, but I am increasingly confident saying that the best method of finding new people to teach is not tracting as may be believed, but rather plain flat miracles from God. When you seek, ye shall, and boy have we been finding. I got to go on an exchange with Elder Monson this week in Jeonju. While I was there we put one of their pure hearted friends on baptismal date! I'm glad I got to be a part of it and I hope I can see more of them in the future. Elder Monson is a fantastic missionary and we had a great time. Yesterday we went to a small city called Imshil and participated in their Cheese festival! Our stake president invited the whole zone to participate in a service project there, but...

양복 사망 (Yangbog Samang) + Lost in the Woods It's miracle time this season of the year! I spent two days in Daejeon this past week getting spiritually sustained from missionary meetings, but even though my in-Namwon-time was shortened we got the work done of two weeks! Our finding efforts have not directly resulted in success, but the Lord has been rewarding us with miracles in the gaps between our plans, and it is so cool to see.  Church had record attendance! None of the attendees were our teaching friends, and it was mostly due to visitors, but we had to pull out chairs from the closet to fit everyone. Fast Sunday sometimes puts me to sleep but not this time! The spirit was felt by all, and it was wonderful. On the fun side of things, we got completely lost in the mountains this week. On the top of the mountain next to our apartment there is a Korean gazebo structure, and we decided we wanted to go study there after church on sunday. We didn't know the route so we just followe...
