Christmas is Coming! Hello everyone! I hope you all have had a fantastic week! Mine was busy! I'll try to keep this brief. I started off the week with getting my Covid booster shot. Because I was vaccinated in the US, it took some extra steps, but with a native companion it was relatively painless. The entire mission has been rushing to get this completed with varying degrees of success and confusion, but it is super important that we have the proper vaccination certification now. Korea brought out the big guns of Covid precautions this week: we are unable to meet in groups larger than 4, and everyone MUST be vaccinated in order to meet at all. Church meetings fall under different rules, but it is still tight, with a 30% capacity lock if anyone is unvaccinated and a 70% if everyone is. As missionaries, we have to be even more cautious when it comes to following the rules, because churches have been the biggest vector of transmission, and that has not been kind to the public image...

We Got One! Hello again everyone! This week was a busy one, so I hope I don't forget anything! We started the week off with Zone conference! It was done through zoom on a per zone basis which was unusual. It's almost like magic when you get messages you have been wanting without ever sharing that you want them. God really does know and speak to each of our hearts and it is awesome.  Later in the week I went on an exchange with Elder Kirschner. What a great elder! I was able to learn a ton. I got to see how th...

Hello once again! I may be a day later than usual, but I did not die, nor did I forget to update. This update is coming out a bit later than usual because p-day was on a Tuesday this week. I still don't have much time, so this may be a brief update, but I have some fun updates to share! This past week was the first full week where we are working exclusively in 김제 (Gimje, also pronounced (Kimje), and it has been a nice transition. We have taken on a couple of teaching friends that were previously being taught by the sisters, and we have been getting to know them! They are both sweet old ladies, and I am excited to get them progressing toward baptism.  Sacrament meeting was also very busy this week! We invited some less active members to attend, and they did! So did a high counselor and a visiting family. Our sacrament meeting room was full, and it was wonderful! I still can't understand what people are saying during the meeting, but that doesn't stop me from feeling the spir...
