A Dozen Updates in 5 Minutes
I made kimchi with members. Its called 김장 (Kimjang) in Korea, and it is a huge cultural thing I thought I was going to miss out on. But last minute a member invited me to come and help his entire family!
We had a big snowstorm in Korea this week, and We got a whole 2 centimeters in Namwon. But we were in a different mountainside city during the storm, so on my birthday we had a full hurricane snowstorm and I was so happy.
Our teaching pool is the largest it has ever been! We are busy teaching people the gospel, and none of these people have attended church yet, but several people are coming to church on Christmas!
We got to shovel compost for a member. Way more fun than it sounds.
Also I went to a castle in the mountains. It was a way fun preparation day activity, and very dangerous and snowy, and after we had gotten through the snow and onto flat ground, I totally fell and twisted my ankle. Got a blessing from my companion, and I'm sure all will be well
Unfortunately I am out of time! There are a few more updates I hope I don't forget before next week, and I have a busy Christmas sized email coming next week.
Sending you all the Christmas cheer I can! Even though we may be apart, we can certainly be united in our love for the Savior during this most special holiday season
