June 6, 2022 - Daejeon
Hello everyone! This week was fun! Here are some of the highlights!
Our ward had a picnic in the mountains this week! A couple of our teaching friends came and we had a blast. There was a small museum, a rose garden, and a little pavilion in the middle of a river where we ate watermelon and played rock paper scissors.
We also had interviews this week! It was the final interviews with our current mission president. I really cannot imagine a better mission president than him. The next one has some big shoes to fill.
There was a national FSY planning meeting at our building on Saturday and Sunday, so I got to see several of the returned missionaries from my mission.
Today was a huge soccer game at the World Cup stadium that is right next to our church. It was Chile VS Korea, and because today was also the Korean equivalent of Memorial Day, it was PACKED. We got to do some good street contacting and gave out some Book of Mormons outside the stadium. Korea won, by the way. 역시
I have had several great opportunities in the past week to talk about Ether 12 with our teaching friends. It is truly one of my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon and you should all spend some time reading it this week.
Love you all! Have a great week!
